To provide a standing-up supporting legless chair that can be changed continuously from a legless chair state to a standing-up supporting state through a chair state and can be reclined and folded.

This standing-up supporting legless chair is first changed from the legless chair state to the chair state by raising a seating section by rotating the lower parallel link of an elevating/lowering mechanism composed of two stages of upper and lower parallel links by means of an actuator to the side of which the elevating/lowering mechanism is attached. Then the state of the chair is changed to the standing-up supporting state by further raising the seating section by rotating the upper parallel link. Simultaneously, the front-half section of the seating section is bent downward so that the section may not become an obstacle when the user of this chair stands up. The chair can be reclined and folded by inclining the backrest of the chair forward and backward while armrests attached to the backrest are maintained in horizontal states. This chair is provided with such a safe mechanism that does not injure the body of the user when the user gets down the chair.
