Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remove the strain and deformation of a hinge part and a cover by combining a stay which has a wide breadth along the turning direction of the cover in a disk player and the like and has varied thicknesses according to the turning angle with a spring which presses the stay. CONSTITUTION:A stay 13 which turns along a stay guide shaft 17 fitted to a part of chassis 8 is made to have a wide breadth and varied thicknesses, and a pressing part 21 which presses toward onto the head part of the stay guide shaft 17 is arranged. In this case, by the cover opening operation at the time of full shut, the stay 13 is opened by the force of a cover opening spring without being pressed by the pressing part 21 until a sloped part 14 is reached. Beyond this part, the pressing part 21 presses the stay 13 until a sloped part 23 is reached and becomes to be freely stopped. Further beyond the sloped part 23, a full open state is kept by a cover releasing spring. Thus, the stay 13 is braked in a wide breadth from both sides together with a washer 19, and accordingly the pressing force can be reduced and the range of freely stopped state can be optionally determined.
