Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of electronic control units, simplify a configuration, and reduce its cost.
SOLUTION: A driving force can be given to a steering mechanism 10 from a main steering actuator 51M and an auxiliary steering actuator 51S. A steering wheel 30 is provided while it is not connected with the steering mechanism 10 mechanically, and a reaction force corresponding to a road surface reaction force is given to the steering wheel 30 from a reaction force actuator 40. A main steering drive circuit 53M, an auxiliary steering drive circuit 53S, and a reaction force drive circuit 43 supplying drive currents to the main steering actuator 51M, the auxiliary steering actuator 51S, and the reaction force actuator 40, respectively, are controlled by a main steering control part 61M, an auxiliary steering control part 61S, and a reaction force control part 45, respectively. The main steering control part 61M, the auxiliary steering control part 61S, and the reaction force control part 45 are controlled by a main control part 80 in an integrated manner. The main control part 80 and the main steering control part 61M are integrated in one electronic control unit 60.
