Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stranded wire polishing machine capable of sufficiently removing an oxide film of a metal stranded wire in a short time.SOLUTION: A stranded wire polishing machine 1 has a brush 2, a drive part 3, a body 4, and a support part 5. The drive part 3 drives the brush 2 to rotate. The body 4 holds the brush 2 and the drive part 3. The support part 5 supports the body 4 detachably to a stranded wire W. The body is supported by the support part 5 to the stranded wire W rotatably around the stranded wire W. The brush 2 is pressed against the stranded wire W in the state where the body 4 is supported to the stranded wire W, and a circumferential direction in a pressing portion is set to be approximately the same as a longitudinal direction of outer layer element wires of the stranded wire W. Thus, a brush hair material of the brush 2 enters grooves between the outer layer element wires of the stranded wire.
