Abstract:

To provide a smell for reducing stress, particularly a general malaise characteristic of women, that is, unpleasant symptoms after childbirth.

As a result of a diligent study in order to solve the above problem, it has been found that the smell of a newborn baby positively acts on a feeling relating to a depressive mood, a feeling of fatigue or the like of a test subject [for example, a woman after childbirth (who is having maternity blues at this time)]. Thus, based on this knowledge, a composition for reducing stress comprising a component derived from a newborn baby is provided.
