Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the structure of a beam welding terminal for being able to strongly weld and connect such a member connected as an electric wire or the like to the terminal by applying beams from a laser or the like to both the member and the terminal in such a condition that the member has been nipped by the terminal.
CONSTITUTION: In the structure of a beam welding terminal having both sides thereof provided with nipping walls 36, 41 for a member 5 connected in order to weld the nipping walls 36, 41 and the member 5 to one another by applying beams to the nipping walls 36, 41 and the member 5, a melting projected part 35 is extendedly formed in at least one of the nipping walls 36, 41 in such a manner that its size is increased in its height direction more than the size of the member 5. Furthermore, the nipping walls 36 having their plural lateral side sections provided respectively with projected parts 35 are formed in a square wave-shaped bent basic wall 34 composed of longitudinal side sections 39 in a direction crossing the member 5 connected and lateral side sections 40 in a direction parallel kg thereto, and then only one to respective corresponding pairs of nipping walls 38 facing one another via both sides of the member 5 may be formed in the one to plural longitudinal side sections 39. As for another structure of the beam welding terminal, one pair of the nipping walls 38 have an inwardly hollow width section formed in the central part therebetween, the restricted width section has projected parts extended in their respective height directions more than the member 5 connected, and the projected parts can also be coupled respectively to the nipping walls 38 via bent conical guide parts.
