PURPOSE: To constantly and stably execute the suction casting by keeping the vacuum system in a clean condition.
CONSTITUTION: A suction casting device is provided with the vacuum pipings 50 to communicate the inside of an airtight chamber 14 with a vacuum device. The opening part 52 at the tip of this vacuum pipings 50 is positioned at the prescribed position in the airtight chamber 14. In addition, this suction casting device is provided with a filter 60 to be positioned at the prescribed position on a die 12. This filter 60 is held between the upper surface of the die 12 and the opening part 52 at the tip of the vacuum pipings 50 in the condition where the airtight chamber 14 is covered onto the die 12, and covers the opening part 52 at the tip of the vacuum pipings 50. This constitution allows the grease- like substance which is contained in the combustion gas generated in the die during the casting operation to be blocked by the filter 60, and prevents the substance from invading into the vacuum pipings 50, and the vacuum system is kept in a clean condition. The filter can be exchanged together with the change of the dies.
