Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the support made of resin coated paper for the photosensitive material remarkably improved in storage stability for a silver halide photosensitive layer.
CONSTITUTION: This support for the photosensitive material is characterized by being a paper base coated with a polyolefin on the side on which the photosensitive layer is to be formed and being coated with a resin having film-forming ability on the other side, and the above-mentioned polyolefin resin being coated with an undercoat layer containing a polymer and a p- or or o-dihydroxybenzene compound having -COON or -SO3 (M being an H or metal atom) and a polyvalent metal compound.
