Title:
JOINTED MATERIAL OF CERAMIC AND METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3176015
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a ceramic-metal jointed material having excellent strength at both of a room temperature and a high temperature and stable reliability by using Ni and Cu as base metals and adding prescribed amounts of Si, B and Pd to a soldering material containing Ti as a activating metal in joining ceramic and metal.
CONSTITUTION: In this ceramic-metal jointed material, a joint-reacted layer 3 is formed at a ceramic side between a ceramic material 1 and a metal material 2, and a filler layer 4 is formed at the metal side. The filler layer 4 is composed of ≤15wt.% Ti, 0.1-5wt.% Si, 0.1-5wt.% B, and the balance Ni and Cu with inevitable impurities. Occasionaly, the filer layer 4 may contain the above composition and ≤25wt.% Pd. A metal 2 as the material to be joined is Ni or an alloy principally containing Ni.
