PURPOSE: To enable effective and even grinding of a cave-in part of the surface to be ground, by a method wherein high pressure is applied to an assembly of strips of a chipform or a beltform elastic bodies made of plastics including natural rubber intermixed with grains, which is made to flow and pass through the surface of a work to be ground under a compressed state.
CONSTITUTION: The surface 3a to be ground is ground by a method wherein high pressure is applied to an assembly of any one kind of or a combined plurality of kinds of stripform things 2 of a chipform (a), a beltform (b), a linear (c), a square (d), an arcform (e) and a spherical (f) elastic bodies made of plastics including natural rubber intermixed with grains 1, which is made to flow and pass through the surface 3a of a work 3 to be ground under a supercharged, compressed and touched state. With this, the grains 1 on the surface or in the vicinity of the surface of each of the stripform things 2 are apt to enter into the inside of the stripform things 2 through supercharged compression and supercharged touching against the surface 3a to be ground, but high speed grinding whose grinding capacity is high and effectiveness is favourable becomes possible as the grains do not enter like conventional case since the stripform things themselves are in an independent, elastic and solid state.
