Title:
SURFACE MOUNT TYPE PIEZOELECTRIC VIBRATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08162891
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the surface mount piezoelectric vibrator in which miniaturization and low height are realized, and excellent shock resistance is attained without a cause of unstable electric characteristic.

CONSTITUTION: A base 2 is an insulation base made of a ceramic and an electrode pad is formed to an upper part 21. Flat and support use metallic plates 3, 4 are arranged to an upper part of the electrode pad opposite to each other and in electric continuity with the electrode pad. The metallic plates 3, 4 have a base adhered part, a buffer part in succession to the base adhered part and a mount part of a piezoelectric vibrator in succession to the buffer part and they are formed to be a channel shape and almost the same in the shape. The electrode pad and the base adhered part are welded so as to be on an diametrical position by spot welding and the mount part and lead electrodes are welded by using a weld member.
