Abstract:
To provide a surface wave transmission line which is superior in moisture absorption dimension stability, heat dimension stability and electric characteristics such as low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss, and has high heat resistance, low moisture absorption and stable high frequency characteristics immune to moisture absorption.
The surface wave transmission line uses a dielectric 6 of a thermoplastic liquid crystalline polymer capable of forming an optically anisotrpic melt phase as a medium, and the thermoplastic liquid crystalline polymer dielectric 6 capable of forming the optically anisotropic melt phase is bonded to a metal-made support.
