Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress displacement to a rotating center in rotating and increase in a toe-out tendency in a suspension device which connects left and right wheels of a vehicle with two bushings arranged at specified intervals in the wheel width direction to a car body.

CONSTITUTION: Trailing arms 4L, 4R are fixed to axles 2L, 2R to which left and right wheels are fixed. The trailing arms 4L, 4R are connected at a middle point by a beam 6, and fixed to a car body through the bushings 10L, 10R. An inner cylinder arranged in the inner circumference of outer rings 12L, 12R of the bushings 10L, 10R is fixed to the car body through an elastic body. Recesses 14L, 14R which gradually increase depth outward the vehicle from the central part are formed in the outer rings 12L, 12R, and reaction force for pressing the trailing arms 4L, 4R to the slant front outward the vehicle is produced in bounding.
