Abstract:
To obtain an aqueous suspension (dispersion or emulsion) based on carbosilane(s) and having storage stability.
This new suspension is obtained by including (a) 30-95 wt.% water, (b) 70-5 wt.% at least one of silane or siloxane having at least two groups corresponding to the formula: (CH2)mSiRnX3-n [R is a 1-18C alkyl and/or a 6-20C aryl; X is OH, a 1-4C alkoxy, a 6-20C aryloxy, a 1-6C acyloxy and/or a hydrogen; (m) is 1-6; (n) is 0-2], (c) 0.1-30 wt.% at least one emulsifier and (d) 0-20 wt.% at least one additive and/or an adjuvant, where the total content (a) to (d) is 100%.
