Abstract:
PURPOSE:To handle the goods shifted between the shifting body and the following-up body, for example, the precision mechanical equipment, the food, etc., without any trouble by detecting optically, namely, without the mechanical contact that the shifting body approaches the following-up body. CONSTITUTION:When a shifting body 1 is shifted toward a following-up body 2 and a photoelectric converting means 3a optically detects the tip, by the output of the photoelectric converting means 3a, a control means 4 controls a driving means 5 and travels the following-up body 2 at the lowest speed. Continuously, as photoelectric converting means 3b and 3c... detect the tip of the shifting body 1 successively and optically, the control means 4 increases the travelling speed of the following-up body 2 successively. When the shifting body 1 is shifted at the setting speed determined beforehand and a photoelectric converting means 3g detects the tip of the shifting body 1 optically, the control means 4 travels the following-up body at the same speed as the shifting speed of shifting body 1, and thus, the following-up body 2 synchronizes and travels with the shifting body.
