Abstract:
The cable end has an insert (22) placed between an inner insulator (24) and an outer insulating sleeve (40). The insert has the shape of a cable duct surrounding the insulator on a partially unsheathed end of the cable and comprises a resistive part (34) and a semi-conducting part (36). An interface between the two parts forms a deflector. Ends of the two parts are electrically connected to a central conductor and an external semi-conductor.
