The present invention provides a system 100 and a method 200 for analyzing design elements 111 for a CAD tool design 109. A configuration element generator 110 encodes information of a configuration command, and generates configuration elements 113 correlated to at least one of the design elements 111. A sequencer 108 is coupled to the configuration element generator 110, and imparts consecutive number of tags onto the configuration elements 113. The computer memory 104 coupled to the sequencer 108 stores the configuration elements 113. A processor coupled to the memory 104 applies the respective stored configuration elements correlated to the objective design element to the objective design element, according to an order indicated by the consecutive number.
