Abstract:
To realize personalization considering privacy when an application is executed in a ubiquitous computing environment.
A procedure for requesting a service from a personal information holding host (portable terminal) to an application operating host in a public space is as follows. (1) Application rules are downloaded to the user's portable terminal. (2) A control command is generated according to personal information and the application rules. (3) The control command is sent. An operation is made according to the control command. (4) The procedure sends no personal information. The acquisition of the personal information and the generation of the command decisive of the application operation are separated to realize privacy protection.
