Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriate information on barrier-free facilities, such as a lavatory for handicapped persons, facilities serving as a guide for a route to a destination, for pedestrians, such as a aged person and a visually impaired person, who cannot easily search for the place of destination facilities, an entrance, or the like, by vision.
SOLUTION: There are provided: a pedestrian position detection section 32 for detecting the position of a pedestrian; a facility detection section 34 for detecting the facilities existing within specific distance around the pedestrian, based on the pedestrian position detection result by the detection section 32; and an output instruction signal transmission section 35 for transmitting an instruction signal to a facility information output system 12 that is installed in the detected facilities and outputs information on the facilities by receiving the specific instruction signal.
