Title:
TABLE DEVICE WITH BUILT-IN ARMRESTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008113791
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a table device with built-in armrests for reducing shock and preventing damage when the table's free-falls happens between the armrests and preventing the table from becoming rickety when it is stored while preventing a hinge itself from becoming large so that hinge installation places at the armrests are not limited.

The table device with built-in armrests has a table 20 which is vertically stored in a storage space 12 having an opening 11 on an upper surface of the armrests 10 when it is not in use and horizontally supported by hinges 31 and 32 which turn in the directions of cut end and face when it is used. The table and the opening part of the storage space have: an assist arm 40 for energizing turning in the cut end direction of the table upward by contacting an outer edge of the table in the storage space; and a guide 60 which is in sliding contact with each other when turning in the table's cut end direction and corrects the table so that it is positioned parallels to the opening of the storage space in the longitudinal direction.
