To provide a table equipped with an apparatus overturning/falloff preventive structure which can prevent equipment such as OA apparatus, TVs, etc., installed on the table from overturning or falling off with an earthquake without requiring any modification or the like, allows easy change, etc., of the layout on the table, and is free of risk to impair the outside appearance.
An apparatus overturning/falloff preventive structure has a top plate consisting of a plurality of blocks 4 capable of being mounted removably. In a frame 2, a recess 2a lower than the peripheral edge is formed, where a bottom plate 3 is installed, and it is preferable that the blocks 4 are arranged on this bottom plate 3. The bottom plate 3 is formed from a ferromagnetic substance, and magnets 5 should preferably be embedded in the bottom surfaces 4a of the blocks 4. The blocks 4 may be of one identical cube or include different forms with rectangular parallelepiped 14, triangular prism 15, and curved side faces 16.
