Abstract:

To provide a tea manufacturing method performing parching treatment with a pan firing method or a method similar thereto, and capable of offering crude tea improved in quality through completely removing easily crushing tea leaves including burnt leaves.

This tea manufacturing method comprises a parching process of roasting raw tea leaves, a powder removing process of removing impurities from the parched tea leaves, a removing process of removing easily crushing tea leaves from the tea leaves after the powder removing process, and a tea rolling process of rolling the tea leaves from which easily crushing tea leaves are removed. Burnt leaves and easily crushing tea leaves which are easy to be crushed in the tea rolling process are removed before the tea rolling process.
