Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the tearability and transparency of a film formed from a composition containing plural mutually non-compatible resins.
SOLUTION: A resin composition comprising (A) a polycarbonate, (B) a polyester such as a polyalkylene terephthalate, and (C) a styrenic resin is extruded into a tearable film without stretching the film. The components (A), (B) and (C) are contained in the resin composition in a (A)/(B) weight ratio of 5/9 to 7/3 and in a [(A)+(B)]/(C) weight ratio of 50/50 to 97/3. The resin composition may further contain a compatibilizing agent in an amount of 0.1-30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C).
