PURPOSE: To realize the mimic scan line double that of the broadcasting system by compressing the axis for the horizontal blanking signal time and then applying the reversed signal, thus obtaining a bright screen.

CONSTITUTION: Video signal time axis process circuit 16 is installed between video intermediate frequency amplifier circuit 3 and video amplifier circuit 10, and circuit 16 is controlled by the horizontal synchronous signal obtained through horizontal deflecting circuit 7. And only the vertical blanking signal sent from vertical deflecting circuit 8 is supplied to video output circuit 14 and with no horizontal blanking signal supplied. Then the video signals in one horizontal effective scanning period are compressed and reversed in one horizontal flyback time to be delivered. Thus the display is given even in the horizontal flyback time.
