Abstract:

To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition excellent in rubber elasticity, mechanical strength, flexibility and heat resistance.

The thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by subjecting a raw material mixture to a dynamic heat treatment in the presence of (D) a crosslinking agent, provided that the raw material mixture contains (A) 10-85 pts.mass conjugated diene polymer rubber, (B) 10-40 pts.mass ethylene--olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber and (C) 5-50 pts.mass thermoplastic resin (provided that (A)+(B)+(C)=100 pts.mass). The thermoplastic elastomer composition has a Duro A hardness specified by JIS-K6253 of 10-95 and compression set after a heat-treatment at 70C for 22 hr specified by JIS-K6262 of 40%.
