Abstract:

To provide a thin orbital member capable of composing a low cost bearing having a long service life and excellent toughness, and to provide a bearing provided with the thin orbital member for a bearing.

In an orbital board 11 which is used after being subjected to quench hardening, and in which the thickness of the part composing each rolling contact surface 11A as the surface in contact with a rolling element 12 of a thrust roller bearing 1 is ≤3 mm, the content of hydrogen in the orbital board 11 is ≤0.3 ppm, and also, the hardness in the surface of the part in contact with the rolling element 12 of the rolling contact surface 11A is ≥700 HV.
