To provide a new thiophene derivative excellent in heat resistance, transparency, moisture resistance, adhesion, etc. and also useful as a feedstock in various organic chemical industries.
The thiophene derivative is represented by general formula(I) [ wherein, R1 is H or a 1-6C alkyl; and X1 is CN, C(=O)OR2 or C(=O)R3( R2 and R3 are each H, a 1-20C alkyl or 6-20C aryl ) ].
