PURPOSE: To obtain stereoscopic static images immediately printed on the basis of three-dimensional image signals.
CONSTITUTION: Image signals of animation are respectively outputted from digital video cameras 1 and 2 for the right eye and the left eye. The respective digital video camera outputs are supplied to frame memories 3 and 4. The frame memory outputs are supplied to a synthesizing circuit 6. Synthesis processing is executed by interleaving the right and left image data by every one pixel in a horizontal direction. The synthesized right and left image data are supplied to a personal computer 7. This personal computer 7 selects the arbitrary scenes of the outputs of the digital video cameras 1, as static images. Control signals are outputted to the frame memories 3, 4 when selection of the static images is executed. The image data for one frame each of the right and left are written into the frame memories and are thereafter read out at a low speed. The data are then supplied to the synthesizing circuit 5. The image data processed by the personal computer 7 ate outputted to a printer 8 and the prescribed photographic paper is printed with the image data by this printer.
