Title:
THRESHOLD CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3263955
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform high-speed arithmetic by a small number of elements and to eliminate the need to consider computation precision as to the threshold circuit which is used as one neuron of a neural network.
CONSTITUTION: Inclusion relation detecting circuits 13 check the inclusion relation between a set (input set) of the numbers of binary input data whose values are 1 among N binary input data and a set (reference set) of the numbers of reference data whose values are 1 among N binary data and the respective inclusion relation detecting circuits 13 output 1 when the input set 11 includes the reference set 12 or 0 when not. Thus, the M inclusion relation detecting circuits 13 checks the inclusion relation between the input sets and M reference sets. The output results of the M inclusion relation detecting circuits 13 are inputted to an M-input OR circuit 14, which outputs the OR result.
