Abstract:
To provide a tilt device of an outboard engine that a stern plate shape is not limited and which does not require modification of the stern plate even if an outboard engine type is changed.SOLUTION: A tilt device 13 of an outboard engine 12 tilts up and tilts down the outboard engine 12 mounted at the rear of a hull 11. The tilt device includes: a stern bracket 31 connected to a stern plate 14 at the rear of the hull 11; a swivel bracket 32 to support the outboard engine 12 so that it can swing left and right; a link arm 33 having a base end part mounted on the stern bracket 31, and a tip part mounted on the swivel bracket 32, and swingable between the stern plate 14 and a water surface H; and a tilt cylinder 41 to connect the stern bracket 31 and the swivel bracket 32, and to tilt up and tilt down the outboard engine 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
