Title:
TIME SYNCHRONIZATION OF PACKET RADIO SIGNAL WITH BASE STATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3476720
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize synchronization by adjusting a specific transmission time indication value and the transmission time from a packet source to an offset and sending following packets by a radio transmitter part at desired arrival time when the following packets are enabled to be received.
SOLUTION: A mobile body exchange MSC:1 sends a packet containing several order numbers to a base station 3, which receives the packet and calculates its arrival time in terms of code division multiplex system CDMA system time. So that packets are transmitted at a CDMA system time for the transmission of the packet having the received order number, the time when the packet having the order number is received is subtracted. The base station 3 sends the offset of the calculation result to the mobile body exchange 1, which adjusts the order number and transmits the time corresponding to the necessary offset. The mobile body exchange 1 sends the next packet having the adjusted order number at the adjusted transmission time.
