Abstract:
To provide a heat-resistant titanium alloy member having high mechanical characteristics and high oxidation resistance under high temperature and having a small mechanical anisotropy, to provide a manufacturing method thereof and to provide a product manufactured using the alloy member.SOLUTION: The titanium-based alloy member is a titanium (Ti)-based alloy member which comprises as the main element titanium (Ti), includes at least 0.5 to 2.0 mass% of boron (B) and has fibrous TiB particles dispersed and precipitated in a polycrystalline matrix phase. The TiB particles have a major axis of 1 to 10 μm and a minor axis of 0.01 to 0.5 μm, has an aspect ratio of 2 to 1,000 and are precipitated in a crystallographically random direction in each crystal grain of the matrix phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
