PURPOSE: To attain efficiently an automatic transmission function by informing the reset of an original by the operator when the automatic transmission is in standby state even if the original set by other interrupting operation is discharged.
CONSTITUTION: When a stop switch 10 is depressed by the interrupting operation with the automatic transmission in standby state, a control circuit 4 discriminates whether or not an original is set and then discriminates whether or not polling transmission or automatic dial transmission is set. When the polling transmission or the automatic dial transmission is set, an alarm means 11 is operated to inform the original reset to the operator. Further, the original set for automatic transmission is discharged and the mode is restored to the initial state, the alarm means is stopped and the operation of other transmission and copy is attained as the interruption operation.
