PURPOSE: To cast a cast slab at high speed by giving non-sinusoidal waveform synchronous vibration to a mold for continuous casting with one set of a hydraulic cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: One end sides of links 5, 5 are connected with the reverse side of mold supporting members of oscillating beams 7, 7 oscillating the mold supporting member 8 and the other end sides of-these links 5, 5 are hinged to eccentric shaft parts 1a, 1a of a shaft 1. Further, by hinging the tip part of a rod for hydraulic cylinder 4 to a lever 1b of this shaft 1 and extending/ shrinking this rod, the oscillating beams 7, 7 can synchronously be oscillated through the shaft 1 and the links 5, 5. Further, by adjusting the hinging position between the lever 1b of the shaft 1 and the rod of the hydraulic cylinder 4 or the hinging position between the eccentric shaft parts 1a, 1a of the links 5, 5, as the non-sinusoidal waveform oscillation is given to the mold, the mold lubricator between the cast slab and the mold can effectively be flowed.
