Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight patient transfer apparatus improved in user's convenience by constituting a belt driving means of a transmission mechanism connecting a belt driving roller and a belt driving motor in connection with each other and a tension mechanism acting on the belt trained over a stage and the belt driving roller. CONSTITUTION:The belt 6 trained over a stage 5 is involved under the stage through a pair of the left and right fixed guide rollers 22 constructed between movable frames 4 and subsequently allowed to go around a pair of left and right tension rollers 23 in a zigzag pattern to be trained over the drive roller 24 horizontally supported over front and rear supports 3. Movable pulleys 33 and the tension rollers 23 are connected by springs 35 to constitute a tension mechanism 36 keeping the tension of the belt 6 constant when the stage 5 rises and falls. The members supported by the movable frames are constituted only of the stage, the belt and the rotary bodies for moving the stage horizontally to be made light in wt. and small-sized and the wt. reduction and miniaturization of the whole of the apparatus are effectively achieved.
