PURPOSE: To provide a method for measuring traffic data capable of measurement even when a fault is generated in a call processing and later editing as well by gathering the various kinds of the traffic data for respective calls.

CONSTITUTION: A ca.ll processor 3 which detects the call origination of a caller 6 or-l reports a call origination event to a traffic data processor 4 and the data processor 4 prepares a ticket inside a storage device 5, writes the call origination time and raises an event flag corresponding to the call origination. The data processor 4 successively updates the event flag inside the storage device 5 by the report of the call processor 3 for each generation of the event and the data processor 4 which receives an on-hook report writes the on-hook time in the ticket and raises the event flag corresponding to on-hook. When the output time of the traffic data comes, a central processing unit 2 copies the ticket in a saving area inside the storage device 5 and edits and outputs the traffic data based on the call origination/on-hook time and the event flag inside the ticket.
