PURPOSE: To improve the correctly opposed performance and the directivity of crystal chip supports by forming a comb body where lots of nearly paper-table form crystal supports are arranged, welding the tip of the crystal chip support to the tip of a lead and separating the crystal support from the comb body.

CONSTITUTION: Punch processing by means of a press is applied to a strip metallic plate 10 so as to form the comb body 13 where lots of the crystal chip supports 11 are led out of a rod from base part 12. The comb body is supplied to a resistance welding part, the tip of the lead 18 projected from a base 16 is allowed to contact to the end of the crystal chip supports 11 in the state to be connected to the base 12 and welded to one lead. The connecting part between the crystal chip supports 11 and the base of the comb body is cut off by a press machine. The base 16 is turned by 180° and the crystal supporting chip 11 is connected to the other lead 18.
