Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a plating bath and plating method capable of constantly and stably obtaining a palladium-molybdenum alloy coating film high in molybdenum content and high in oxidation catalytic capability.
CONSTITUTION: The palladium-molybdenum alloy plating bath contains 0.3-5g/L palladium in terms of metal concn., 2-50g/L molybdenum in terms of metal concn. and 0.1-5.0mol/L ammonia or ammonium salt in terms of ammonium ion concn. The plating is executed in the plating bath having pH4.0-10 and the temp. of 30-70°C.
