Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve weathering resistance and resistance to scuffing, by forming a transparent conductive film, on the recessed surface of a glass substrate with a curved surface. CONSTITUTION:After a glass substrate 1 is heated, a transparent conductive film 2 is formed, and subjected to a bending work in the manner in which the surface, of the glass substrate 1, on which the transparent conductive film 2 is formed, is turned into a recessed surface. For the transparent conductive film 2 formed on the glass substrate 1, a film composed of transparent metal oxide having excellent electric conductivity is suitable. In particular, the transparent conductive film 2 composed of tin oxide doped with fluorine is most suitable, because a sheet resistance lower than or equal to 10OMEGA/square is easily obtained, and high resistance to hydrogen plasma of high reducing properties, to which the film is exposed when a-Si is formed by plasma CVD method, is obtained. Thereby, excellent weathering resistance and resistance to scuffing can be obtained.
