PURPOSE: To permit the supply of high-temperature hot-water and the control of hot- water supplying with a high accuracy by a method wherein a heat exchanging jacket is provided around the outer periphery of the main body of the hot-water reserving tank except the lower part thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Water, in the intermediate layer B of the hot-water reserving tank 9, is heated by heat medium passing through the heat exchanging jacket 11. The heated hot- water rises to the upper layer A of the tank 9 and the same hot-water is reserved in the intermediate layer B also as the time to hot-water reserving is elapsed. The water in a lower layer C remains cold. Cold water feed from a water feeding pipe 14 is effected simultaneously with the beginning of the hot-water supply from a hot-water supplying pipe 16. The supply of the hot-water is effected by the push-up of the cold water feeding. In this case, the lower layer of the water in the main body 9 of the hot- water reserving tank is the layer of the cold water and the cold water feed is effected to the layer of the cold water, therefore, the cold water will never be mixed with the hot-water and the cold water flows out of the tank after the whole of the hot-water has already been supplied substantially. When the high-temperature hot-water in the hot-water reserving tank 9 has been spent, the stopping of the hot-water supply may be effected automatically with a high accuracy by providing a temperature detector.
