PURPOSE: To increase the heat transferring efficiency and to selectively check transferring of heat, by disposing the evaporating part of a heat pipe in the lower position in a room of high temperature, while the condensing part in the higher position in a room of low temperature, and by providing a check valve to stop circulation of operating fluid in the connected part of both evaporating and condensing parts, in the titled heat transferring device.

CONSTITUTION: An evaporating part 1a is laid under a radiating panel 16 on the floor 14 of a warm room 12 on the south of a building 11, ascended toward a connecting part 1c, while a condensing part 1b is in a room 13 on the north, descended toward the connecting part 1c. With such an arrangement, a heat pipe 1 is operated and the room 13 is heated by the heat transferred from the room 12 to the room 13, provided that a valve 2 is opened. When the valve 2 is closed in summer time, the heat pipe 1 is not operated, and the heat in the room 12 is not transferred to the room 13. Accordingly, the heat transferring efficiency of the titled device can be increased, and the transferring of heat can be checked selectively.
