Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. having excellent resistance to metal halides, consisting of nylon 6 or nylon 66 and a polycondensate of terephthalic acid and trimethylhexamethylenediamine.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. nylon 6 or nylon 66 having a relative viscosity of 2.5W5 is dry-blended with 5W100pts.wt. polycondensate of terephthalic acid and trimethylhexamethylenediamine. The mixture is injection-molded at a resin temp. of 225W300°C at a mold temp. of 30W80°C under an injection pressure of 300W 800kg/cm2.
EFFECT: Crack formation of molding in contact with metal halide at a relatively high temp. can be prevented.
USE: Automobile parts.
