PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a vinyl chloride based polymer with a polymer prepared by polymerizing vinyl chloride or a monomeric mixture consisting essentially thereof in the presence of ethylene/ methacrylic acid ester copolymer, and having improved weather, low-temperature impact and heat distortion resistance and thermal stability.
CONSTITUTION: A vinyl chloride based resin composition obtained by incorporating 5W50pts.wt., preferably 10W20pts.wt. polymer prepared by polymerizing vinyl chloride or a monomeric mixture consisting essentially thereof in the presence of a copolymer of 95W25wt% ethylene and 5W75wt% preferably 20W60wt% methacrylic acid ester to give 30W80wt% copolymer content with 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride based polymer. Methyl methacrylate is used as the methacrylic acid ester, and the copolymer to be used has 0.1W300g/10min, preferably 1W150g/ 10min melt index.
