MUSIC SELECTING RECORD PLAYER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6040501
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the music selecting accuracy with a simple constitution by incorporating a reflective sensor for selection of music to an arm base.

CONSTITUTION: A reflective sensor 17 for selection of music is set inside of a base 16 for selection of music which is attached to an arm base 3 on a line connecting a stylus tip 15 of a cartridge 2 and a conter part 9 of a record 10 and at a position distant away from the tip 15 by a distance Δl. In such a constitution, a switch for selection of music is operated to revolve a drive motor 11. As a result, both the base 3 and a linear tracking arm 1 are shifted toward the part 9. An interval part of music of the record 10 is recognized at a position preceding the tip 15 by Δl at all times. Then the base 3 is shifted by Δl and the arm 1 is cued down. Thus the tip 15 is dropped accurately to an interval part of music. In such a way, the music selecting accuracy is improved with a simple constitution.
