PURPOSE: To obtain a photocurable microcapsule capable of freely controlling breakage, by enclosing a photocurable resin and a photopolymerization initiator in the microcapsule.
CONSTITUTION: A photocurable resin (e.g.; an epoxy acrylate photocurable resin), a photopolymerization initiator (e.g.; benzophenone) and, according to necessity, a photosensitizer aid (e.g.; anthraquinone) are enclosed in a microcapsule to prepare a photocurable microcapsule. As the wall film forming material of this microcapsule, for example, gelating or gum arabic is used. In addition, as the aforesaid substance to be enclosed, for example, agricultural chemicals, food or a dye can be enclosed. For example, when the enclosed substance is desirably enclosed in the capsule, this photocurable capsule is exposed to light and the photocurable resin of the enclosed substance is cured by light permeating the film of the capsule to be changed to a hard resin.
