In the token dispensing machine 1, tokens are loaded in a token box 69. The token box 69 is slid toward the front face of the token dispensing machine 1 and inserted and fitted into a receiving hole 68 having a token box fitting structure. Next, the token box fitting part 68 and the token box 69 are rotated around the axis in the direction perpendicular to the front face of the token dispensing machine 1. When the token box 69 is inverted, tokens in the token box 69 slide down along the bottom of the receiving hole 68 to be guided to a counter mechanism 70. The tokens counted by the counting mechanism 70 fall down in the direction of the arrow indicated in the figure to be stored in a token tank 62.
