Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner replenishment device with a simple constitution, capable of stably continuing to replenish a specified amount of the toner to a developing part.
SOLUTION: In the toner replenishment device 51, provided with a toner container 14 composing the toner discharging port 14a in an elliptic shape on a center part of one end side of the cylindrical container main body, container holding means 50a holding the toner container 14, provided with the opening part 50b for guiding the toner discharged from the toner discharging port 14a to the developing part, the container holding member 16 provided with plural ribs 16a fitted with push out member 17 for scraping out the discharged toner, while rotated associating with the toner container 14, and rotary driving means for rotating the toner container 14 around its center axis in the length direction, either end part in the lengthwise direction of the toner discharging port 14a is respectively the discharging position 14a1 and 14a2, and the plural ribs 16a is severally arranged so that the toner discharging position 14a1, and 14a2 is severally located in the intermediate position between adjoining ribs 16a.
