Abstract:
To suppress deformation of a tool holder that is used in processing a workpiece to improve dimensional accuracy and surface roughness and further extend a tool life to thereby reduce cost.SOLUTION: A tool holder includes: a holding part 6 to be attached to a processing machine; a circular arc-shaped support part 2 of which hollow cylinder is partially cut out in an axial direction and of which insert attachment part is installed at an end surface in a radial direction; a cutting insert 1001 fixed to the insert attachment part; and a connection part 3 connecting the circular arc-shaped support part 2 to the holding part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
