To provide a torsion beam type suspension capable of securing the sufficient stiffness of a torsion beam against a lateral force (input) acting on a vehicle wheel and securing clearances sufficiently between the torsion beam and vehicle components such as a propeller shaft, a fuel hose, muffler, etc.
The torsion beam is structured so that a curving bent part 22 bent curving as protruding to over the vehicle body and arranged extending along the propeller shaft 13 is formed approximately in the center of the torsion beam 21 about the direction across the vehicle width, wherein the condition RA<RB should be met, where RA is the radius of curvature of the first curve part 22a in the top (center position) A in the left-to-right center position of the bent part 22, while RB is the radius of curvature of the second and third curves curved in the opposite direction to the first curve 22a at the top A ni the left side position B and the right side position C of the curving bent part pinching the first curve 22a.
