To provide a touch panel for which the position information of a plurality of points can be acquired simultaneously.
The drawings are respectively the plans of an upper part panel 1, an insulation panel 3, a lower part panel 2 and the touch panel 100 for which they are laminated. The upper part panel 1 and the lower part panel 2 are respectively formed by alternately arranging conductive line pieces 11 and 21 and insulation line pieces 12 and 22. On the conductive line piece 11 of the upper part panel 1, slits 13 are formed at a prescribed interval and the formation parts of the slits 13 correspond to the present position of the conductive line piece 21 at the time of being piled up with the lower part panel 2. On the insulation panel 3, the slits 31 orthogonal to the slits 13 are opened at positions corresponding to the slits 13. A finger or a conductive touch pen is inserted to '+' formed of the slits and the conductive line piece 11 and the conductive line piece 21 at a desired position are short-circuited. Then, a voltage is successively applied to the conductive line piece 11, on which conductive line piece 21 the voltage appears is monitored and the information of the position to which the finger or conductive touch pen is inserted is recognized.
